Think Again

by

Whatever happened to beloved Girls series characters Ellie, Magda and Nadine? They're all grown up now - but if they think they know what's coming, they'd better think again... Adulthood isn't quite what Ellie Allard dreamed it would be when she was fourteen years old. Though she's got her beautiful daughter Lottie, her trusty cat Stella and life-long best friends in Magda and Nadine, her love life is non-existent and she feels like she's been living on auto-pilot, just grateful to be able to afford the rent on her poky little flat. But this year on her birthday, it seems it's time to for all that to change - whether Ellie wants it to or not. As she navigates new, exciting and often choppy waters, she's about to discover that life will never stop surprising you - if only you let it. Bringing the same warmth and humour to an adult novel as she does to her work for younger readers, Jacqueline Wilson finally answers the questions her fans have been asking her for years in this uplifting, life-affirming book about friendship, family, and finding fulfilment in unexpected places.

About author
Dame Jacqueline Wilson DBE FRSL (born 17 December 1945) is an English novelist known for her popular children's literature. Her novels have been notable for featuring realistic topics such as adoption and divorce without alienating her large readership. Since her debut novel in 1969, Wilson has written over 100 books. When Wilson began to focus on writing, she completed several crime fiction novels before dedicating herself to children's books. At the age of 40, she took A-level English and earned a grade A. She had mixed success with about 40 books before the breakthrough to fame in 1991 with The Story of Tracy Beaker, published by Doubleday. As her children's novels frequently feature themes of adoption, divorce and mental illness, they tend to attract controversy, yet are well loved by children and adults alike.
